Dreame — the vacuum company — just ‘launched’ its own phones
Dreame, a robot vacuum manufacturer, claims to be launching smartphones including a modular device (Aurora Nex LS1) and a luxury line with 29 variants (Aurora Lux), though neither has actually shipped and credibility is questionable. This represents a concerning trend of hardware companies attempting radical diversification into competitive markets with unproven technology, signaling potential supply chain disruptions and vendor instability that IT organizations should monitor.
