iPhone Duo adding Apple Pencil support next week with iOS 27.2

Apple is delivering Apple Pencil support for the iPhone Duo sooner than expected via iOS 27.2, which increases the device’s value for mobile productivity, note-taking, field workflows, and executive use cases. For IT organizations, the key implications are faster feature adoption, tighter dependency on OS release timing, and the need to manage accessory compatibility and procurement because only the USB-C Pencil model will work.
