Google brings Gemini’s smartest feature to everyone
Google has democratized access to Gemini's NotebookLM integration—a powerful AI-driven research and knowledge management feature—making it available to all users (free and paid) across mobile platforms. This advancement, combined with newly added file generation capabilities (PDF, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), positions Gemini as a competitive enterprise AI tool that enhances productivity workflows and reduces manual data handling. In mid-December 2025, Google added NotebookLM integration to Gemini, combining two of its most powerful AI tools. Initially only available on the web, the integration rolled out to the mobile app at the beginning of this year. Then, in early April, the company further deepened the integration by adding notebooks to Gemini. Now, it is expanding the feature to all Gemini users, free or paid.
