Self-driving truck startup Gatik raises $200M following PepsiCo deal
Autonomous vehicle startup Gatik has raised $200M to scale its proven middle-mile delivery operations, which now include $600M in contracted commercial revenue with major customers like PepsiCo, Kroger, and Walmart. This signals that autonomous vehicle technology has matured beyond pilot phases into reliable commercial operations, creating potential disruption across supply chain and logistics operations that IT leaders must monitor. For enterprise IT organizations, this validates the business case for autonomous logistics infrastructure and signals the need to plan for integration of driverless fleet management systems into existing supply chain and transportation technology stacks.

The funding, Gatik's largest so far, was led by Qatar Investment Authority and Koch Disruptive Technologies.
