Microsoft Edge is about to lock out older ad blockers, just like Chrome did
Microsoft Edge is discontinuing support for Manifest V2 extensions (including popular ad blockers like uBlock Origin), following Chrome's earlier transition to the newer MV3 platform, with consumer phase-out completing by end of 2026 and enterprise shutdown in early 2027.
